Patient Advisor & Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Patient Advisor & Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will provide medical consultations to prospective patients by phone and in-person, gather and analyze symptoms and medical test reports, give prognosis about disease condition and treatment options, influence patients to book appointments, and follow up with current and past patients. You will also prepare treatment reports, promote health education seminars, and support team members with administrative tasks. Strong medical knowledge and communication & organizational skills needed.

Full time
8:30am to 6pm
Monday - Saturday
Monthly Salary
RM3500 - RM4500
Based on your level of
knowledge & skills.
Bonus Pay

Job-scope, Duties, & Responsibilities:
- Provide medical consultation to prospective patients (by phone and face-to-face) – gather their symptoms, medical test reports, and then give them a prognosis about their disease condition and our treatment program and how it can help them recover from their diseases. (Training shall be provided).
- Influence prospective patients to book the first consultation appointment.
- Follow up with prospective patients not yet booked their first consultation appointment, and influence them book their first consultation appointment.
- Follow up with current patients about their progress, treatment reminders, appointment reminders, etc.
- Prepare treatment summary report of all patients after they finish treatment.
- Follow up with past patients, and influence to return to the centre for yealy checkups, new product launches, health education seminars, etc.
- Support fellow team-members in miscellaneous administrative tasks as and when needed.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
- Preferebly a degree/diploma in “Medical Assistant”; to validate your knowledge in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, medicine administration, reading medical test reports.
- Any additional training or certifications is an added advantage but not necessary.
Skills:
- Good understanding of basic medical concepts – anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, medicine administration, reading medical test reports, etc.
- Natural ability to teach & explain concepts (to be able to teach prospective patients complex medical concepts in a simple & easy to understand manner.)
- Good & effective communicator.
- Natural ability to influence and sell without using any hard-selling tactics.
- Able to speak English very well and fluently, with a clear accent.
- Able to speak Malay very well and fluently, with a clear accent.
- Able to speak Mandarin-chinese very well and fluently, with a clear accent.
- Basic computer skills; CRM system skill is added advantage.
Languages:
- English.
- Bahasa Malayu.
- Mandarin Chinese (optional, but preferred).
Experience:
- Any work-experience that demonstrate your posession of the needed skills and your abiity to handle the duties & responsibilities.
Character:
- Passionate about healthcare and medicine.
- Passionate to serve patients and help them fully recover.
- Submissive to leadership of Doctors & Superiors.
- Good team player; easy to work with others and co-operative.
- Self motivator.
