Health-food Chef
We are seeking a skilled Health-food Chef to join our team. As the chef, you will be responsible for designing health-food menus based on our medical director’s food protocol, purchasing raw materials, preparing dishes, and serving food to patients. You will also be responsible for cleaning up after orders are complete, providing analysis and summaries to the directors, and completing miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent artistic skills, attention to detail, and a passion for healthy food.

Work days & hours
Full time
8:30am to 6pm
Monday - Saturday
Monthly Salary
RM2500 - RM4000
Based on your level of
knowledge & skills.
Bonus Pay
Performance Bonus,

Job-scope, Duties, & Responsibilities:
- Design health-food menu based on our medical directors food protocol.
- Design the menu for the week/month.
- Prepare a raw material cost and get approved from finance.
- Buy raw material, ingredients, and equipment necessary for food preperation.
- Prepare necessary sauces, oils, etc..
- Prepare the heath-food per recieved orders.
- Artistically put prepared food in serving dishes, and neatly setup dish & cultlery in serving tray.
- Serve the food to the patients that ordered the food.
- Clean up dishes, cutlery, and equipment after all orders complete.
- Produce a food order summary in a spreadsheet and present analysis and summary to directors.
- Do miscellaneous administrative tasks as and when needed.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
- Any form of professional kitchen chef training.
- If no formal chef training, then self-taught knowledge & skill is also acceptable.
- Any additional training or certifications is an added advantage but not necessary.
Skills:
- Good understanding of basic health food concepts.
- Good knowledge of necessary culinary & food prep skills.
- Good knowledge of a decent amount of health-food recipes and ability to prepare them easily.
- Decent knowledge about food costing.
- Decent knowledge about food hygeine.
- Able to speak English & Malay.
- Basic computer skills.
Languages:
- English.
- Bahasa Malayu.
- Mandarin Chinese (optional, but preferred).
Experience:
- Any work-experience that demonstrate your posession of the needed skills and your abiity to handle the duties & responsibilities.
Character:
- Passionate about health food.
- Passionate to serve.
- Submissive to leadership of Doctors & Superiors.
- Good team player; easy to work with others and co-operative.
- Self motivator.
- Emotionally stable.
